Strolling around 20 kilos of worth of luggage across various cities has proven to be no joke. When you’re the type of traveler who prefers to take a daily commute, to have a taste of what the locals go through, having too much on your hands can definitely slow you down, and even make your trip less enjoyable.
It took years of traveling for me to learn to pack light. Definitely is one tough lesson when you’re forced to leave one big stroller behind in a hotel in Paris before you go on to venture the rest of the continent, or when unable to book a cheaper flight between countries/cities because they only allow hand carry luggage.
